Membership Program Agreement and Guidelines
Guidelines for Enrollment and Membership
Enrollment

Pay a one-time initiation fee as set by The Legends at the time of enrollment. Make check payable to The Legends.

Fill out an enrollment information sheet and sign at the end of this document agreeing to membership guidelines and privileges. Submit to Membership Department. The Membership Department will ask for credit card information at this time to keep on file for billing purposes.

Pay monthly dues to Legends of $100.00 ($50.00 monthly for social only or non resident).

Each primary member, spouse and eligible family member must obtain a picture ID card in order to receive membership privileges during golf and social activities.

Member should retain a signed copy of the membership agreement and privileges for future reference.
Membership Guidelines

Membership includes privileges for member, spouse and family (children 21 and under).

Members will be charged quarterly in advance for dues to a credit card on file. Charges other than dues will be billed monthly. Members using the handicap scoring system will be charged annually for the service to the credit card on file.

Members pay $18.00 cart fee for each round of golf booked. The number of blocked tee times made available for Membership play (Men’s and Ladies League) will be adequate in number to allow each member a minimum of two 18 hole rounds of golf per week. Any times not booked within 48 hours may be released to the general public.

Additional tee times may be booked 7 days in advance by calling reservations at 843-236-5400.

Should members or guests fail to play a scheduled round without 48 hours cancellation notice, the member will be charged one cart fee and three replay rate fees.

Members may invite up to three guests (one foursome) with guests paying the prevailing replay rate.

Members will have charging privileges in the Clubhouse. A valid credit card will be required for Legends files. All member charges other than membership dues will be applied to the credit card on file and billed monthly.

Members’ picture ID must be presented in the Clubhouse when checking in for golf rounds, purchasing merchandise in the Pro Shop or food and beverage in the Restaurant and Ailsa Pub. Failure to present ID will result in loss of discounts.

Pre-booking of nine-hole rounds is not allowed. However, nine-hole rounds may be played subject to availability by “walking in” to the Pro Shop.

A Social Membership with non-golfing privileges is available for dues of $50.00 per month.

Leave of Absence. In the sole discretion of the Legends in the instance of a member's physical injury or illness which will inhibit the member's enjoyment or use of the Club's golf facilities for at least six (6) months, the Club will consider a written request from such a member in good standing for a leave of absence of not less than six (6) months nor more than twelve (12) months. During the Club approved leave of absence neither the member nor his qualified family members will be allowed use of the Club's facilities as members. Any portion of the member's then current years dues affected by the leave of absence shall be at the option of the Club either credited to the next year's dues obligations of the member or refunded to the member.
This program is transferable to purchase of resale property with membership privileges attached for a charge of 10% of the current initiation fee.
This Resort Membership Program is in substitution for any other membership program into which the member signing below has entered into at The Legends.
Privileges of Membership
Golfing Privileges on the Heathland, Moorland, and Parkland courses (Social Membership does not include golf). Members will pay $18.00 for cart fee.
Access to member only tournaments.
Access to member only social events in Clubhouse.
Handicap scoring available for an annual fee of $25.00.
Access to Men’s and Lady’s Day events planned weekly with allotted block of tee times reserved.
Access to member “Travel Day” with golf arranged at other area courses.
50% discount off prevailing green and cart fees booked day of play at Barefoot Resorts.
15% discount on Legends Resort Pro Shop merchandise (excluding sale items).
10% discount on Food and Beverages in restaurant and 20% at Ailsa Pub.
Receive special bag tag recognizing membership.
Membership is transferable to purchase of resale property with membership privileges attached for a charge of 10% of the current initiation fee.
$15000.00 for resident membership introductory offer for first 60 days. Lot owners will be in an inactive status and will not be charged monthly dues until home is built and certificate of occupancy issued.
$15000.00 for non-residents
Monthly dues for residents: $100.00 / Non residents $50.00 per month.
Monthly dues of $50 for 50 rounds per year/ $18 cart fee (For member still employed full time).
$50.00 monthly dues for Social Membership.
Free range balls (members only).
Guest of a member will pay the prevailing replay rate.
Percentage of initiation fee refunded if the membership is terminated by Legends.

The 9-hole rate will be $10.
Monthly dues and other fees are subject to revision on an annual basis.
